Just entered the first two chapters of my contemporary Geek Girls series, Of Capes and Cosplay, to the League of Writers Emily Contest.
I’m not looking to win or even final, to be honest, though that would be a nice surprise considering I only sent them a second draft. I’m looking more for feedback from people who don’t know me. New readers and critiquers, as it were. I do believe the Emily gives feedback if I remember correctly from a previous entry I did a long time ago.
I’m a little over halfway done with the book and my chapters are getting shorter and shorter for some reason that I can’t figure out. I’m pantsing for the most part, though I have brief summaries for each chapter. I guess that’s why they call this a rough draft. LOL!
