Have already begun the plotting of the first book in the Millionaire Heiress books, so far tentatively titled The Gold Mine Heiress (subject to change LOL). Spent this past Sunday deep diving into the goals, motivations and conflicts of Haidee Duran and Warren McGregor. The goal is to have book one finished and ready for beta readers by the end of the year, if not sooner.
I also have fandom goals. I have a Qui-Gon Jinn/Obi-Wan Kenobi Viking alternate universe story that has been left unfinished for a couple of years now that is on the list of things to complete this year as well. I know where it’s going, it’s just doing the research to get there. I said I wouldn’t sign up for too many fan events this year to focus on my other writings and then promptly signed up for the Star Wars and QuiObi Big Bangs. I’m weak, what can I say.
The second short story in the Matchmaking Miuty series is back from critique partners. Now it’s just finding the energy to sit down and work through their issues found in the story and resolve them. I wanted to have it to an editor by May but I may not make that goal. Have to get off my lazy butt and get stuff done!
So much to do, plus work and social things with friends, so little time to get it all done.
