The Between the Pages Writers Conference was even better than last year’s. Excellent workshops, good food, meeting and talking with other writers. My only complaint were the hotel pillows were a little TOO squishy. Made new friends and met up with old ones. Can’t wait for next year!
Mid-America Romance Authors will be meeting June 24 at noon at the Prairie Village police station’s multipurpose room. We will have a business meeting followed by a presentation by agent Carly Watters on Writing the Perfect First Five Pages video. I believe she will be doing pitches but only for MARA members. Gives you a reason to join! You never know what opportunities you’ll miss!
